Plethysmograph smart PFT Body II

For complete measurement of body plethysmography (TGV, RAW, sRAW, etc.), static lung volumes (FRC, RV, TLC), simple spirometry (SVC), flow-volume curve (FVC), maximum voluntary ventilation (MVV), airway resistances Rocc (shutter method) and respiratory muscles measurement P0.1, Pemax, και Pimax.

• The body plethysmograph smart PFT Body II is based on method of: constant volume for all the measurements (spirometry, plethysmography). The smart PFT Body II is entirely automatic and controlled by external PC and can be upgraded with Diffusion or Ergospirometry (Modular). It is suitable for testing adults and children. The tests of spirometry and plethysmography are independent.
• The smart PFT Body II consists of a cabin of 860lt, transparent on 4 sidesand it is suitable for adults and children. The seat and the flowsensor can be adjusted according to the patient height. It integrates an internal speaker and microphone for communicate with the patient while the door is closed. The door closes electromagnetically, so there is no chance for malfunctioning of a mechanical handle. Of course there is an emergency button inside the cabin for the patient in case he/she feels not good. The cabin is oval shaped and the door opens in two parts, so an overweight person could easily enter if only he/she is up to 150 kg. The elevation of the cabin floor is very small (<7cm) for easy reach of disabled people.

The smart PFT Body II is using  flowsensor (FlowVSensor) made by silicone membrane and not turbine or pneumotach. So it is absolutely noiseless, is not heated and has very low.
